Research Interests
My Interests are applying and extending machine learning methods for their use in population genetics. My work involves Kernel machines, discriminative and generative methods for classification
and how they can successfully be applied for ancestry prediction.
Part of my research involves applying and developing feature selection methods for several classification tasks involving genetic data, in way that improves the prediction power of a classifier and/or
having a better understanding of the process of interest.
